Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 7, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the conditions and procedures for using the Ban Ki-moon Global Impact (BGI) service operated by the Ban Ki-moon Foundation for a Better Future (hereinafter "Foundation"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Foundation and users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

① "Service" means the donation and fundraising platform and related services provided by the Foundation. ② "User" means any member or non-member who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service. ③ "Member" means a person who has registered by providing personal information to the Foundation and can continuously use the Service. ④ "Donation" means a monetary contribution made by a user to support the Foundation's programs. ⑤ "Recurring Donation" means a donation where a pre-determined amount is automatically charged at regular intervals (monthly).

Article 3 (Effect and Changes)

① These Terms take effect by posting on the service screen or notifying users through other means. ② The Foundation may amend these Terms within the scope not violating relevant laws when reasonable cause arises. ③ Changes will be announced 7 days before the effective date, or 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users.

Article 4 (Services Provided)

The Foundation provides the following services: ① Program information: Youth Future Action Alliance, Digital & AI Transformation, Climate Environmental Leader Training, Ewha Global Gender & Climate Initiative, etc. ② One-time and recurring donation payment services ③ Donation receipt issuance services ④ My Page: viewing donation history, managing recurring donations ⑤ News and activity updates ⑥ Other services determined by the Foundation

Article 5 (Membership)

① Users may register as members through social login (Kakao, Naver, Google). ② The Foundation may refuse or terminate membership in the following cases: - Using another person's identity - Providing false information - Other incomplete registration requirements

Article 6 (Donations and Payments)

① Users select the donation amount, program, and payment method according to the service instructions. ② Payments are processed through Toss Payments, supporting credit cards, bank transfers, KakaoPay, NaverPay, TossPay, etc. ③ Recurring donations are automatically charged monthly on the initial payment date and can be cancelled anytime via My Page. ④ Donations may qualify for tax deductions under applicable tax laws.

Article 7 (Cancellation and Refunds)

① One-time Donations - Cancellation available within 7 days of payment completion (may be restricted after donation receipt issuance) - Refunds processed to original payment method ② Recurring Donations - Can be cancelled anytime via My Page - Current month's payment is non-refundable; cancellation takes effect the following month - Withdrawal of subscription available within 7 days of payment ③ Refund inquiries: bkmfoundation@bf4bf.or.kr

Article 8 (Donation Receipts)

① The Foundation issues donation receipts for user donations in accordance with tax laws. ② Name, resident registration number (or business registration number), and address are required for receipt issuance. ③ Annual donation receipts are available for download via My Page by the end of January each year.

Article 9 (User Obligations)

Users must not: - Steal others' personal information - Alter information posted by the Foundation - Send or post prohibited information (including malicious programs) - Infringe on the intellectual property rights of the Foundation or third parties - Damage the reputation of or interfere with the business of the Foundation or third parties - Post obscene or violent content contrary to public morals

Article 10 (Limitation of Service)

The Foundation may restrict or suspend service use in the following cases: ① User intentionally or negligently disrupts service operations ② Unavoidable circumstances due to equipment inspection, repair, or construction ③ Telecommunications service suspension by a carrier ④ Other force majeure events

Article 11 (Copyright)

① Copyright for all content (text, images, video, logos, etc.) provided through the Service belongs to the Foundation. ② Users may not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, or otherwise use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes without prior consent from the Foundation.

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

① The Foundation is not liable for service disruptions caused by natural disasters or force majeure. ② The Foundation is not responsible for service disruptions caused by user negligence. ③ The Foundation is not liable for damages arising from failure to earn expected profits or from information obtained through the Service.

Article 13 (Dispute Resolution)

① Korean law applies to disputes between the Foundation and users. ② The competent court for disputes shall be determined in accordance with applicable laws.

Supplementary Provisions
